Hi, my name is Samantha Gill. I have always wanted to be a collegiate gymnast. When I was young, my mom would ask if I wanted to be an Olympian (they’re amazing), but I would say no, my goal is to be a college gymnast. I have always dreamt about it.  Gymnastics sets a fire in me. When I train and compete I come alive not only as a gymnast but also as a person. I believe college gymnastics is about helping others and being part of a family.

I believe that I would be an asset to “my future collegiate team/family,” because I ‘m motivated, dedicated and have a strong work ethic; I train 20 plus hours, 5 days a week. My best events consist of Bars and Vault, but I love all events. It's my goal in every competition to improve from the last, even if it’s the littlest of things; which I believe sets me apart.

I attend San Clemente High School, awarded Distinguished School for Academics, where I take Honor Classes and have a 4.2 GPA. My favorite subject is math, but I also enjoy science and would someday like to be pre-med. I’m very excited to have joined Assisteens of San Clemente and Dana point so I can give back to my community and help others in need I hope my hard work pays off and I achieve my dream as a collegiate gymnast. Thank you for your consideration.
